Sports massage

Sports massage is designed to improve the overall wellbeing and functioning of an athlete, his/her form, reduce the fatigue, and to gain more physical power. It can often be quite strenuous and is meant to relieve and reduce the stress and tension that can build up within the body’s soft tissues during exercise. It can be carried out before, during, and after exercising and uses techniques that are specifically designed to increase endurance and performance and to minimize the chances of injury. If an athlete has already got an injury sport massage can help to reduce the recovery time.

Pre-Training Sports Massage

The Pre-Event Sport Massage is a vigorous but shortened massage treatment that lasts anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes and is performed right before the start of the sports activity. Its main focus is on those parts of the athlete’s body, which will be more intensively used during the training.

Post-Training Sports Massage

The Post-Event Sport Massage is performed within an hour or two after the training and its aim is to return athlete’s muscles to their normal state by helping them recover from the hard work in the shortest time possible.

Restorative Sports Massage

The Restorative Sports Massage is applied while the athlete is in training and it helps him or her practice harder while, at the same time, decreasing the chances of incurring injuries.

Rehabilitative Sports Massage

The Rehabilitative Sports Massage is there to pick up the proverbial pieces by treating the injuries, which resulted from the exertion of the sport. The primary objective of Rehabilitative Sports Massage is to provide pain relief and to return the body to its former, pre-injury state.

We have experienced massage therapist working in our Academy with athletes. Massage room opening hours: Monday-Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday- Sunday from 10:00 to 22:00.
