DOROSSA Pro Sports Foundation

In 2012, Alexander Ostrovsky Academy (Khimki) established a fund to support talented juniors who show promising results in Russian and world tennis called ‘Khimki Junior Tennis Foundation’ . In 2015 it was renamed to ‘DOROSSA Pro Sports Foundation’. The purpose of this foundation is to provide grants to bright and ambitious students. Grants are awarded annually and the Board of the Academy selects successful candidates. When considering candidates for a grant, we take into account their ratings and their coach’s views on their professional disciple.

The decision to enroll a student for the sponsorship program is made based on the following criteria:

• Student’s place in the Academy’s private ratings
• Student’s place in the RTT rating
• Active participation in the Academy’s life: tournaments, field camps, sport events
• The nomination by the coach

The basis for the nomination of the student by coach is based on the following results:

• Achievement of certain performance in the private ranking of the Academy;
• Achievement of certain performance in the RTT ranking in her/his age category;
• Victories in inter-club tournaments;
• Results as a member of the team;
• Exclusive decision of the Grant giver.

The list of fees covered by the grant:

• Classes held on the courts of the Academy, approximately 6 times a week, 3 hours per day, including PFD classes (classes in the fitness center) in accordance with our personal trainer, approved training program.
• Conduction of theoretical studies.
• Student calendar organization.
• Representation of a student outside the Academy, marketing activities by the grantor with PR manager grants.
• Physician Academy.
• Massage.
• Personal Trainer (as determined by a joint decision of the investor and the parents).
• Support of a personal trainer to travel to take part in the training camps and tournaments.
• Student participation in the tournaments (participation price covered).
• Providing student with sports kit and equipment.
• Insurance.
