1. JTT Team Program
Junior Transition Tour Team (JTT Team) – a new program with systematic approach to training young athletes of Alexander Ostrovsky Academy in Khimki, which prepares junior players for transition from Tennis Europe tour to ITF Juniors tour and further transition to adult tour.
The program started on October 1st, 2021 in Alexander Ostrovsky Academy in Khimki.
High level training athletes and the Avant Garde program alumni can join the JTT team program. The athletes have an option to add to the program package: coaching assistance at the tournaments or short-term training camps.
*The JTT Team program is for the athletes aged 13 and over!
The training process of the JTT team program:
- A team approach to the training process on the court and coaching support at tournaments and short-term training camps;
- The team consists of three athletes of approximately the same level of training. One permanent coach-teacher is assigned to the team.
- The training load on court increases up to 72h per month
- The fitness process is planned based on the athletes' individual characteristics. The training load increases up to 20h per month;
- The Academy compensates the daily payment of the coach's work with the team, if the coach leaves for a tournament or a short-term training camp. Travel and accommodation expenses of the coach are paid by the team members additionally.
- The training process of the team is planned taking into account the tournament schedule of the athletes, which is drawn up and controlled by the coach of the team;
- The program is designed to help and support athletes who require a professional individual approach to achieve maximum athletic performance;
- The Avant Garde program alumni and any athletes from or out of the Academy can apply to join the JTT team program. The decision on admission to the program is considered within 3 working days from the date of application. The Academy administration may refuse to enroll an athlete in the Program at its own discretion without explaining the reasons for the refusal.
